Job summary

Nu-Pure Beverages is seeking an experienced Shift Technician (Electrical) to join our Maintenance team at the Horsley Park site. This full-time role focuses on fault finding, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of high-speed production equipment, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

You will operate on a rotating 12-hour roster across day and night shifts, maintaining plant reliability and collaborating with production teams and contractors to ensure safe, compliant operations in

Qualifications

• Current Electrical Licence highly regarded.
• Trade-qualified in a relevant discipline.
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience in fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Strong experience with preventative and scheduled maintenance systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond under pressure.
• Strong collaboration with production teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and preventative maintenance across the site.

• Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with production teams to support reliable operations.
• Diagnose and rectify faults across electrical, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimise plant performance.
• Support operators with technical guidance to improve equipment use.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors, ensuring safe and compliant work practices.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance.
• Ensure all work meets HACCP & GMP standards and participate in incident investigations.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Shift Technician (Electrical) to join our Maintenance team at our Horsley Park facility.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this full-time permanent role plays a key part in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our high-speed production equipment, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, plant reliability, and operational performance.

Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you'll be responsible for fault finding, breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating closely with production teams and contractors.

Work Pattern (Rotating Roster)

This role operates on a structured rotating 12-hour shift pattern across day and night shifts, including:

• 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Day Shift)
• 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Night Shift)
• A consistent rotating roster

You must be able to commit to working both day and night shifts as part of this rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Operations

• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Deliver planned and preventative maintenance across the site
• Maintain maintenance systems including work orders and schedules
• Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities

Technical & Continuous Improvement

Contractor Coordination

• Supervise and coordinate contractors, ensuring safe and compliant work practices

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Promote a strong safety culture and adhere to WHS requirements
• Ensure all work meets food safety and quality standards (HACCP & GMP)
• Identify and address unsafe conditions
• Participate in incident investigations and reporting

About You

• Current Electrical Licence highly regarded
• Trade-qualified in a relevant discipline
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Strong experience in preventative and scheduled maintenance systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond under pressure
• Strong collaboration skills with production teams and contractors
