Job summary

Aligned Leisure is seeking a Duty Captain to manage all facility operations during rostered shifts at our Albury Wodonga Aquatic Facilities. You will lead a service delivery team, ensure safety, cleanliness and top-tier customer experience, and make timely decisions to keep programs running smoothly.

This hands-on role requires First Aid, Lifeguard certification, and strong communication and leadership skills to coach staff, resolve issues, and uphold our customer charter in a community-focused

Qualifications

• Current First Aid certification to HLTAID003/HLTAID011 is required.
• Valid Pool Lifeguard Award is essential.
• Defibrillators Certificate must be current.
• Working with Children Check is mandatory.
• Pool operation certificate is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and leadership of the service delivery team.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and presentation across all areas.
• Coordinate staff rosters, breaks and program setup.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong customer service and resolve complaints promptly.
