Australian Staffing Agency is seeking experienced Sewing Operators for immediate starts in Melbourne's north-western suburbs. You will join a team specialising in garment branding, including sewing, embroidery, heat press and clothing finishing services.

Shifts available: Day 6 AM-2 PM and Afternoon 3 PM-11 PM, with competitive hourly rates. Immediate starts for successful candidates and ongoing opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles.

Qualificações

• Previous sewing experience, industrial sewing highly regarded.
• Able to read and write basic English and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and working towards production targets.
• Willing to learn embroidery, heat press and other garment-branding processes.
• Reliable and available for your nominated shift.
• Able to attend a face-to-face interview in Laverton North.

Responsabilidades

• Operate sewing machines to attach badges, patches, labels and garment components.
• Assist with embroidery and heat press applications for logos and branding.
• Prepare garments and check branding placement against instructions.
• Trim threads and check stitching quality, accuracy and presentation.
• Fold, pack and sort completed garments for dispatch.
• Assist with other finishing tasks and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Sewing Operator - Garments Alteration, Embroidery and Branding | North West

Australian Staffing Agency is seeking experienced Sewing Operators for immediate starts in Melbourne's north-western suburbs. Join a supportive team specialising in garment branding, including sewing, embroidery, heat press and clothing finishing services.

Available Shifts

• Day: Monday-Friday, 6 AM-2 PM | $33+ per hour
• Afternoon: Monday-Friday, 3 PM-11 PM | $37+ per hour

About the Role

As part of the team, you will help customise clothing and garments to meet customer requirements. Your duties may include:

• Operating sewing machines to attach badges, patches, labels and other garment components.
• Assisting with embroidery and heat press applications for logos and branding.
• Preparing garments and checking branding placement against job instructions.
• Trimming threads and checking finished garments for stitching quality, accuracy and presentation.
• Folding, packing and sorting completed garments for dispatch.
• Assisting with other garment-finishing tasks and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
