Job summary

Multiplex in Canberra is seeking an experienced Services Manager to lead the building services delivery on a major hospital project. This hands-on leadership role covers design through testing and handover, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and timely collaboration.

You will mentor the services team and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher with HVAC/MEP focus.
• Strong knowledge of building services installation.
• Analytical mindset and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of Building Code of Australia and OH&S.

Responsibilities

• Lead services delivery for a major Canberra hospital project.
• Coordinate design to handover across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire.
• Provide technical leadership and drive safety, quality, schedule, and subcontractor performance.

You will work collaboratively across the project team, providing strong technical leadership while driving safety, quality, programme and subcontractor performance.You will also lead and mentor the services team and develop strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure services are coordinated effectively and delivered to the highest standard.**As an experienced Services Manager on large scale commercial projects, you will also have:*** Tertiary qualifications in HVAC Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building OR equivalent trade qualifications.* Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in the installation of building services across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and fire.* Analytical mindset, problem solving skills and exceptional stakeholder management skills.* Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and OH&S legislation.* Previous experience on large scale projects is advantageous.**A note on diversity:**We're committed to building a workplace where people of all genders, cultures, identities, abilities and life experiences feel they belong.
