Job summary

SA Health invites applications for a Services Assistant in Crystal Brook as part of the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. This casual pool role covers a 7‑day roster with hourly pay of $30.85 to $31.17 plus 25% casual loading.

The successful candidate will provide catering, cleaning and housekeeping support to our health unit, assist with meals, laundry and linen, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for clients and staff. On-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, service and delivery of meals (breakfast, soups, quick-serve foods).
• Perform general cleaning duties including high window cleaning and carpet shampooing.
• Support laundry tasks: washing, folding, ironing and delivering clean linen.
• Ensure food is plated and delivered promptly; accommodate dietary requirements.
• Complete minor sewing repairs and assist with stock recording.

Your Role:

As a Services Assistant, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the health unit runs efficiently by:
