Job summary

Tech Savvy Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITAM/SAM Consultant to support a large enterprise. The role focuses on software asset governance, licence compliance, optimisation, renewals, reporting and lifecycle management using ServiceNow ITAM/SAM.

Responsibilities include asset management, EL P reconciliation, audits, risk remediation and data quality across a complex IT environment. Sydney-based with full Australian working rights; Melbourne or Sydney location preferred

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Software Asset Management and IT Asset Management.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM/SAM.
• Knowledge of software licensing, entitlements and compliance.
• Experience with ELP, licence reconciliation, renewals and optimisation.
• Knowledge of EOL/EOS lifecycle management.

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITAM / Software Asset Management (SAM) Consultant to support a large enterprise environment. The role will focus on software asset governance, licence compliance, optimisation, renewals, reporting and lifecycle management using ServiceNow ITAM/SAM.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage software assets, entitlements, agreements and licence compliance within ServiceNow ITAM/SAM.
• Reconcile deployment, entitlement and usage data to maintain accurate Effective License Positions (ELP).
• Support software vendor audits, compliance analysis and risk remediation.
• Analyse licence utilisation and provide insights for software renewals and optimisation.
• Identify opportunities for licence reclamation, re-harvesting, rationalisation and cost reduction.
• Maintain software publisher/product data, normalization and overall ITAM data quality.
• Monitor ServiceNow SAM platform health, integrations and compliance reporting.
• Develop EOL/EOS reports to support cyber security, technology risk and resilience teams.
• Support SaaS and AI software spend visibility and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across SAM processes, automation and reporting.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) / IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM/SAM.
• Strong understanding of software licensing, entitlements and compliance.
• Experience with ELP, licence reconciliation, renewals and optimisation.
• Knowledge of software normalization and EOL/EOS lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within large enterprise environments preferred.
