The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in Wangara.

This is a permanent, full-time position where you'll play a critical role in maintaining and servicing our extensive product range. You will provide technical support and assistance for products sold by the company to both internal and external parties, as well as provide regular product training for customers and internal staff and ensure training material is kept up to date and readily available. You'll help identify areas for improvement and complete warranty works or calls in the region when required.

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager (WA), your responsibilities will include :

  • Provide technical support for products sold by the Company, to internal and external parties, across Australia and New Zealand
  • Provide product training for internal staff, customers or other parties as required
  • Preventative and scheduled maintenance of HVAC systems
  • Attend job sites for technical matters such as installation inspections, warranty, repairs
  • Diagnosing faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns and executing repairs with precision
  • Providing essential warranty support and technical expertise
  • Identify technical issues with the Company's products and work in conjunction with the engineering or management team to rectify issues or develop improvements
  • Ensure high level and updated knowledge on technical details of air conditioning units and the company's controllers (i.e. AirTouch)
  • Conduct product testing as required
  • Delivering expert technical support to both customers and the Sales Team
  • Upholding rigorous safety standards as outlined in company policies
What You Bring
  • Cert II Restricted Electrical Licence & Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
  • A valid driver's license
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Experience handling breakdowns and maintenance across a variety of HVAC systems
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Ability to conduct training effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and customers
