Job summary

BAUER Equipment Australia is seeking an experienced Service Technician for a local contract in Australia. You will perform commissioning, fault finding, repairs, rigging and maintenance of BAUER equipment on site, at customer premises or in our Sydney workshop, and liaise with customer service to rectify faults.

You will coordinate with the After-Sales Team and ensure HSE standards are met, with the ability to travel across Australia & New Zealand and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Commissioning, fault finding, repairs, rigging/de-rigging and maintenance of BAUER equipment on site, at customers' premises or at the Sydney workshop.
• Liaise with our customers service staff to rectify faults both on site and over the telephone
• Liaise with the BAUER Maschinen After-Sales Team to provide feedback from jobsites and to help rectify faults
• Various other tasks related to repairs, maintenance and spare parts requirements for BAUER equipment
• Compliance and execution of BAUER standards in the field of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Responsibilities

This has presented the opportunity for an additional experienced Service Technician to join our team on a local contract in Australia.

• Commissioning, fault finding, repairs, rigging / de-rigging and maintenance of the full range of BAUER equipment on site, at customers premises or at our own workshop facility in Sydney
• Liaise with our customers service staff to rectify faults both on site and over the telephone
• Liaise with the BAUER Maschinen After-Sales Team to provide feedback from jobsites and to help rectify faults
• Various other tasks related to repairs, maintenance and spare parts requirements for BAUER equipment
• Compliance and execution of BAUER standards in the field of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Damit Überzeugen Sie Uns

• Minimum 5 years of either Bauer / RTG / MAT / KLEMM experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction or foundation equipment
• Possess a thorough understanding of modern mobile Hydraulics and Electrics / Electronics as well as relevant Bauer / RTG / MAT / KLEMM knowledge
• Fluent verbal and written English language skills
• Employ good communication skills and a customer focused attitude
• Have the right to work in Australia or meet the requirements to do so
• Prepared to relocate on a local contract to Australia with a view to permanent residency if desired
• Hold a full driving license recognizable in Australia
• Have a flexible approach to the working day, a willingness to work out of hours and travel around Australia & New Zealand as required
