The Service Sales Manager is responsible for leading and optimising Cold Front’s service operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, efficient service delivery, and ongoing business growth. This role oversees the strategic direction of the service department, manages team performance, and fosters strong relationships with both customers and suppliers to support Cold Front’s long-term objectives.
About The Company
Cold Front Air Conditioning has been established since 2012 and due to continued growth, we are looking to establish new crews based in Ipswich and the surrounding suburbs.Cold Front carry out installation of both ducted and split air conditioning systems from leading brands such as Daikin, Fujitsu and Braemar for some of Queensland’s Major home builders.
The role:
Develop and implement service department strategies aligned with Cold Front’s business objectives
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality; revenue growth and profitability
Prepare strategic plans, performance reports, and service forecasts
Establish clear KPIs for service operations, sales, and customer satisfaction
Monitor and analyse department performance through regular reporting
Lead, mentor, and motivate the service team to achieve individual and departmental objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners
Negotiate supplier agreements to secure competitive pricing and priority support
Act as the primary escalation point for customer or supplier issues
Oversee the handling of customer enquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses
Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities
Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service.
Skills and Experience
Proven leadership experience in a service management or operations role
Strong understanding of HVAC service operations and customer lifecycle management (highly regarded)
Exceptional people leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in reporting, analytics, and operational planning
Background in sales or business development within the HVAC or construction industry (highly regarded)
Experience usingfield service management software and CRM systems.
