Busy Bees on Hannan Street is seeking an experienced and inspiring Centre Director to lead our dedicated team in delivering exceptional early learning experiences for children and families in the Kalgoorlie community. About the Role

As the Centre Director, you will lead both the operational and pedagogical success of the service. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the centre with a strong commitment to high-quality practice and family partnerships
  • Providing professional guidance, coaching, and development to your educator team
  • Ensuring compliance with the NQS , National Regulations , and EYLF
  • Building strong community connections and maintaining trusted relationships with families
  • Overseeing daily operations, staffing, enrolments, and financial performance
  • Driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive, inclusive culture
  • Leading with clarity, responsiveness, and a child-centred approach

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in dynamic environments and values autonomy supported by a strong national framework.

What You’ll Need
  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
  • Experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and compliance responsibilities
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – WA requirement
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • A commitment to maintaining high-quality education and positive team culture
