Job summary

A well-known childcare provider in Brisbane is seeking an enthusiastic educator to lead a primary-aged program. The role focuses on creating a safe space where children can thrive, planning engaging activities, and building strong relationships with children and families. Ideal candidates should possess or be working towards a childcare-related qualification and have strong relationship-building skills. A permanent contract with numerous benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • Completed or working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Working with Children Check - Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

  • Design and maintain engaging and compliant programs for primary-aged children.

In this role, you’ll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
