Era Search, Australia’s first AI‑native search agency, seeks an SEO professional to drive technical audits, on‑page optimization, and content structure from day one. You’ll explore AI answer engine visibility, knowledge graph optimization, and structured data for LLM citations, shaping an agency playbook rather than just executing tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years hands‑on SEO experience, agency‑side preferred.
• Strong fundamentals: technical audits, on‑page, content structure, keyword research, internal linking.
• Comfortable in Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar.
• Already paying attention to AI search - how ChatGPT and AI Overviews reshaping visibility.
• Resourceful - if you don't know how to do something, you figure it out.
• Communicates clearly and hits deadlines without being chased.
• Startup mentality - you move fast and don't need a manual for everything.
• Experience with schema markup, structured data, or entity SEO.
• You've run your own client portfolio with minimal to no oversight.
• Basic scripting or familiarity with AI tools for content and research.
• WordPress experience beyond just clicking around in Elementor.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical audits, on‑page optimization, content structure, and internal linking.

• Collaborate directly with founding team to build the playbook for AI‑driven ranking.

The role

You'll be hands‑on from day one - technical audits, on‑page optimisation, content structure, schema markup, keyword research, internal linking - the kind of work where you can see the direct results of what you do.

But this isn't just an SEO execution role. You'll be working at the frontier of where search is actually heading: AI answer engine visibility, knowledge graph optimisation, structured data for LLM citation, and the emerging playbook for ranking inside AI‑generated responses. You'll help us build that playbook, not just follow one.

You’ll work directly with the founding team - no account managers sitting between you and the strategy.
