Job summary

Open in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Senior Workplace Technology Lead to own the core stack for devices, identities, access and support. You’ll direct Jamf, Google Workspace, Cloudflare Zero Trust, Okta and Freshservice, design infrastructure-as-code, and build AI-assisted level 1 triage.

Reporting to the TechOps Lead, you’ll mentor juniors and set technical direction. This role combines senior engineering with regulatory awareness in a fast-growing insurer-scale business, offering strong autonomy

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems, IT or workplace engineering, including at least 2 years at senior level.
• Deep, hands-on administration of Okta and Google Workspace in a SaaS-first company.
• Strong macOS fleet management experience with Jamf Pro.

Responsibilities

• Own the workplace stack and manage platforms as code (Terraform, Git, CI/CD).
• Design and build AI agents to triage and resolve level 1 requests in Freshservice.
• Automate identity and device lifecycle across Okta, Google Workspace and Jamf.
• Act as escalation point for complex issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Write documentation and evaluate new tools, vendors and renewals.
