Job summary

Maptek is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our Adelaide team. This hands-on role focuses on the reliable operation and maintenance of Windows Server and Desktop environments, enterprise services, software licensing and vendor management.

You will work across servicing, patching, support, continuity and security controls, guiding colleagues and ensuring robust IT infrastructure. The position offers on-site parking, flexible working conditions, collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and Desktop environments.
• Experience with systems maintenance, patching and enterprise services.
• Experience managing technology vendors and service-level issues.
• Experience with software licensing, renewals and cost management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and systems-thinking skills.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server and Desktop environments and enterprise services.
• Coordinate patching, maintenance and service lifecycle activities.
• Monitor service availability and resolve complex systems issues.
• Manage operational relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Coordinate software licensing, renewals and cost optimisation.
• Support service continuity, recovery and assigned security controls.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to other employees.
