Canberra Health Services (CHS) is seeking a Senior Ward Clerk for the Corporate and Finance team. This two‑month temporary role will support day‑to‑day ward operations, oversee the Patient Administration System, and contribute to service delivery in a busy clinical environment.

You will supervise and train clerical staff, manage referrals and bookings, and assist with rostering and leave management. A merit pool may be used for future backfill opportunities as required by CHS.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in busy clinical admin environments.
• Ability to manage referrals, bookings and waitlists.
• Supervise and train junior admin staff.

• Maintain the Patient Administration System and referrals.
• Manage procedure bookings and patient waitlists.
• Attend to customer service for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate rostering and leave management for the admin team.
• Contribute to Quality Improvement activities within the Unit.
