Job summary

Perth Animal Eye Hospital, based in Perth, WA, is seeking a Senior Nurse to join our ophthalmology referral hospital. You will bring a Certificate IV in vet nursing, with strong surgical support skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude to help train junior nurses.

The role offers weekday shifts from 7:30 to 6:30 with an on-call roster every six weeks for emergencies; weekends are not routine. We foster growth and emphasize teamwork in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in vet nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience within GP or 2 years’ experience within a Specialty Surgery but happy to consider other suitable applicants.
• An amazing ‘can do’, team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and patient care.
• Help develop and train other nurses alongside the Head Nurse.
• Work Monday to Friday 7:30–6:30 with an on‑call roster every 6 weeks for emergencies.
