VetPartners Australia Pty is seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse / Assistant Practice Manager for Vetwest South Perth in Western Australia. The role combines clinical hands-on nursing with leadership, operations, and people management under the mentorship of an experienced Practice Manager.

You will lead and develop the nursing team, coordinate workflow, support surgical services, maintain clinical standards, manage rosters, stock, and client experience, while promoting a positive team culture.

Qualificações

• Confident across all aspects of veterinary nursing, including anaesthesia and surgery.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
• A genuine passion for patient care and delivering excellent client experiences.
• An interest in leadership, with either proven experience or readiness to step up.

Responsabilidades

• Leading, mentoring, and supporting the nursing team day-to-day
• Coordinating workflow to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations
• Supporting vets across anaesthesia, surgery, and patient care
• Maintaining high clinical standards, protocols, and patient outcomes
• Managing rostering and contributing to team performance and engagement
• Assisting with stock control, ordering, and equipment management
• Supporting client experience, including handling feedback and complaints
• Promoting a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
• Working a rotating roster including 1 in 3 weekends

Formação académica

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
