The Grencross Mount Gravattteam are looking for an experiencedSeniorVet Nurseto join us in providing the positive experience and exceptional standard of care we are known for. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about training and mentorship – you love your patients and all that you do, including being that point of guidance for more junior nurses.

In clinic we also have a great relationship with the Petbarn team who are conveniently located under the same roof! This also allows for a steady stream of cross-referrals and helps achieve a truly positive experience for all our clients and their pets - and with the Animal Emergency Centre covering the night care of our patients, there areno afterhours required for this role!

What You'll be Doing:

  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Encouraging team development and education
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

Who We're Looking For:

If you’re an experienced veterinary nurse who’s passionate about providing exceptional care and loves working in a dynamic, supportive team, we’d love to meet you! Here’s what we’re hoping you bring:

  • A Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with a min.2+ years of hands-on experience
  • Surgical confidence and a strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Positivityand enthusiasmforyourjob, withplenty of energy and optimism, eager to learn and grow your career!
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a team-first attitude
  • Experience in leading or mentoring would behighly regarded
  • Excellent communication and customer service of course!
  • Familiarity with RX Works is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker!
