CSL Behring in Broadmeadows is seeking a Senior Utilities Operator to join our Engineering Utilities team. You will apply advanced operational expertise across bulk reagent and ethanol recovery systems to ensure safe, compliant, and continuous utility supply for manufacturing in a cGMP environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in industrial plant operations in regulated environments.
• Strong HS&E knowledge and quality, hygiene and compliance standards.
• Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision-making with safety focus.
• Ability to collaborate across functions to improve operations.
• Experience using CMMS and basic computer literacy.
• Desirable: chemical processing qualification or related field; forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and optimise bulk reagent and ethanol recovery systems to ensure safe, compliant supply.
• Manage chemical receipt, storage, dilution, sampling, release and distribution.
• Operate ethanol distillation and recovery processes, plant equipment and transfer systems.
• Perform plant isolations and support maintenance and return equipment to service.
• Provide technical support to Engineering and Maintenance teams to drive reliability improvements.
• Mentor operators and contribute to capability development.
• Support passivation activities and maintain compliant documentation.
• Identify hazards and emerging risks, maintain audit-ready Utilities areas.
