Job summary

Uniplan is seeking an experienced Tiler to join our Armidale production team. You will tile bathrooms, laundries, kitchens and other areas, with most work conducted in our Armidale facility to ensure a clean, organized environment.

We require a minimum of 5 years’ tiling experience in Australia and strong waterproofing skills. A formal tiling trade qualification is highly regarded but not essential if you can demonstrate relevant Australian industry experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ tiling experience in Australia.
• Demonstrated high-quality tiling and waterproofing workmanship.
• Strong knowledge of wet-area preparation, waterproofing, falls and finishes.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality finishes.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Ability to work as part of a production and construction team.
• Reliability, initiative and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Complete waterproofing of wet areas to Australian Standards.
• Prepare surfaces ready for waterproofing and tiling.
• Lay cement beds and create correct falls for graded floors.
• Accurately set out floor and wall tiles.
• Lay and grout graded bathroom floors and walls.
• Complete silicone sealing and finishing.
• Identify and rectify quality issues before completion.
• Follow production processes for efficient, consistent results.
• Work collaboratively with other trades and production teams.
