Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent).
• 3+ years’ experience in financial services with software engineering, delivery, and controls exposure.
• Strong backend development experience in .NET/C#, REST/JSON APIs, and service integrations.
• Proven ability to lead delivery in complex cross-functional environments.
• Knowledge of SDLC/ADLC, secure coding practices, and testing strategy.
• Experience operating within governance, risk, and control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives for Australia Equities with defined scope and milestones.
• Run delivery governance including plans, critical path, RAID logs, and blocker escalation.
• Provide concise senior stakeholder updates on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC/ADLC, governance standards, and change management processes.
• Identify risks early and propose pragmatic mitigation options.
• Embed auditability and readiness into delivery plans with documentation and verification.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET/C# with APIs and integrations.
• Own technical deliverables end-to-end from design to runtime support.
• Build delivery and controls automation to improve transparency and risk management.
• Apply secure coding practices and embed security controls throughout.
• Coordinate across product, engineering, operations, and vendors for UAT and production readiness.
