Job summary

Clio is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant for Clio Operate in APAC, based out of our Sydney hub, to help establish and scale our Operate offering in the region. This role focuses on implementing, configuring, and delivering our platform across enterprise clients in APAC.

You will work across UI and server-side components, solving complex issues, and helping customers succeed with Clio Operate. Strong communication and customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and clean coding.
• Comfort working directly with customers to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and provide support.
• Experience delivering and supporting software in production environments.
• Familiarity with Azure, DevOps, or similar cloud-based delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Support 2nd and 3rd line technical escalations, working with Clio engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack - from the UI to database queries.
• Build relationships with our customers and help them succeed with Clio Operate.
• Develop custom UI elements and workflows using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Create server-side plugins in C# to expose APIs, integrate systems, or implement custom business logic.
• Contribute to our technical documentation and video tutorials, expanding our knowledge base for customers.
• Partner with the product team to promote client-specific innovations into the core platform.
• Help other team members build their knowledge of the Operate platform.
• Utilise and contribute to AI tooling to improve efficiency.

We're hiring a Senior Technical Consultant for Clio Operate in APAC, based out of our Sydney hub, to help establish and scale our Operate offering in the region. What you'll work on

What you may have

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SQL Server.
• A solid understanding of OOP principles, and clean coding.
• Comfort working directly with customers to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and provide support.
• Experience delivering and supporting software in production environments.
• Familiarity with Azure, DevOps, or similar cloud-based delivery models.

• Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as implementation consulting or solution support.
• Strong SQL tuning skills - understanding execution plans, logical reads, and indexing strategies.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or performance-critical applications.
• Open-source contributions, side projects, or a GitHub profile showcasing your work.

The expected salary range for this role is $144,500 to $195,000 AUD. Initial placement within the range is informed by geographic region, experience, and skillset, with room to progress as impact and tenure grow. Final offer amounts will vary based on candidate profile.
