Job summary

Camtech & Slater, a 20-year CPA firm in Moe with clients across Australia, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to own a portfolio of business and individual clients and be the trusted adviser they rely on.

You will perform quality reviews of company, trust, partnership and individual returns, run proactive tax planning, and use AI daily to work faster while building tools to stay ahead. You’ll mentor Australian and Philippines accountants and lead tax training as the firm grows.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with 6+ years in Australian public practice.
• Registered tax agent, or close to it.
• Love AI.
• Confident, conversational with clients and proactive in communications.
• Own your work; never need to be chased.
• Proficient in Xero, XPM and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of business and individual clients and be their trusted adviser.
• Perform quality reviews on returns, BAS, IAS and FBT with confidence.
• Lead proactive tax planning to avoid surprises for clients.
• Use AI daily to work faster and build leading firm tools.
• Provide strategic advisory on structure, cash flow, wealth and automation.
• Mentor Australian and Philippines accountants and run tax training.
