Job summary

MW Recruitment seeks to fill a Senior Tax Manager / Client Relationship Manager role on the Gold Coast with an option to grow the Brisbane Southside team. This is a tax and client-management position in a modern, cloud-based accounting firm with a focus on long-term client partnerships.

The role involves managing a portfolio of business services and tax clients, reviewing financial statements and BAS, delivering proactive tax planning and advisory services, and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualifications and 1-2+ years experience as a business services manager or supervisor
• Good longevity in previous roles & top technical and analytical skills
• A passion for helping Australian Businesses
• The desire for a long term role and to build meaningful relationships with clients
• An inquisitive nature to deliver solutions and a team player mindset

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of business services and tax clients across various industries
• Review financial statements, tax returns and BAS for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
• Provide proactive tax planning and business advisory services to clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Lead, mentor and review work
• Attend client meetings and assist with strategic business discussions
• Ensure compliance with ATO requirements and relevant accounting standards
• Identify opportunities to improve client processes, profitability and efficiencies
• Assist directors/partners with workflow management and team performance
