  • Conduct domestic and international tax research, including tax legislation, treaties and cross-border tax risk assessments.

  • Review proposals and contracts for tax implications, including withholding tax, permanent establishment and GST/VAT considerations.

  • Assist with international and cross-border tax matters, including transfer pricing, intercompany transactions and foreign reporting obligations.

  • Maintain the tax compliance schedule and contribute to improvements in tax systems, processes, governance and controls.

  • Contribute to tax planning initiatives and the use of automation and emerging technology within the tax function.

What You Bring:
  • A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • CA or CPA qualification (or near completion).

  • 4+ years of tax accounting experience in industry or public practice.

  • Strong foundation in Australian corporate tax, indirect tax and related compliance obligations; international tax experience is preferred.

  • Experience working with multiple legal entities, international operations and foreign currencies.

  • Sound technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, tax accounting and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills; experience with BST11 or a similar ERP system is an asset.

  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and emerging technologies.
