Job summary

Wood Recruitment's client in Fremantle is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with 4–5 years in Australian public practice to manage client portfolios, handle complex taxation matters and support junior accountants.

You will prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships, liaise with the ATO, and contribute to tax planning and business advisory services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related field.
• CA or CPA qualification or in progress is highly desirable.
• 4–5 years in Australian public practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Manage complex taxation matters including CGT, FBT, GST and Division 7A.
• Liaise with ATO and ensure tax compliance; support junior accountants.
• Provide tax planning and business advisory services; manage client relationships.
