As a senior member of the team, you'll play a key role in strengthening the Group's tax capability, providing trusted advice to finance and business stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across tax processes and reporting.

Key responsibilities of the position will include:
  • Independently manage assigned compliance and reporting obligations.
  • Prepare calculations and reconciliations, and review work prepared by others.
  • Manage deadlines and escalated risks.
  • Provide technical guidance to finance teams.
  • Work with external advisers and revenue authorities.
  • Document technical positions and maintain audit-ready workpapers.
  • Support tax audits, reviews and information requests.
Why this opportunity?
  • Join a lean, high-performing Tax team where you'll have genuine ownership and influence.
  • Broaden your expertise across international tax, transfer pricing and global reporting obligations.
  • Gain exposure to Treasury, Financial Reporting and wider Group Finance initiatives.
  • Partner directly with senior finance leaders across Australia, New Zealand and international markets.
  • Access our comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, wellness reimbursements and employee assistance programs.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax returns for large groups, multinationals or listed companies.
  • Preparation and/or review of tax-effect accounting calculations.
  • Strong accounting and reconciliation skills.
  • Approximately five or more years of relevant corporate tax experience gained in a professional services firm, a large corporate group or a combination of both.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, law or a related discipline. Completion of, or progress towards, a CA, CPA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
Key Attributes:
  • Takes ownership and accountability, seeing work through from initial scoping to successful completion while delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Highly reliable and dependable, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work and meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to identify issues, solve problems and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters in a clear and practical way.
  • Curious and open-minded, with a genuine interest in learning about broader finance functions and contributing beyond core tax responsibilities when opportunities arise.
  • Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across finance, tax and business teams.
