Zip Co Limited in Sydney is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own automation and reliability across corporate IT. You will combine hands-on engineering with scripting and automation, managing identity, endpoint services on macOS/Windows, and strengthening office networks.

You’ll participate in a shared L3 on-call roster and collaborate with IT, Security, Engineering and business stakeholders to drive smarter ways of working.

Formación

• Proven experience in systems engineering, infrastructure or corporate IT.
• Strong scripting and automation using PowerShell and Python.
• Experience managing identity, access and endpoint services across macOS and Windows (Jamf, Intune or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and problem solving.
• Experience delivering technical projects, mentoring others; exposure to APIs or automation is a bonus.
• Mindset open to AI and new tools; risk management is important in all roles.

As a Senior Systems Engineer in our Corporate IT team, you'll help shape a smarter, more reliable technology experience for our Zipsters across Australia. Combining hands on engineering with automation and continuous improvement, you'll solve complex challenges, take ownership of critical systems and share your expertise to help the team succeed.

• Proven experience in systems engineering, infrastructure or corporate IT, with the ability to own complex technical challenges.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python or similar technologies, ideally in production environments.
• Experience managing identity, access and endpoint services across macOS and Windows, including Jamf, Intune or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of corporate networking, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management and problem solving skills, with a focus on improving system reliability.
• Experience delivering technical projects, collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring others, with exposure to enterprise APIs or infrastructure automation considered a bonus.
• A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
