Job summary

IT Alliance Australia in Canberra is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for a long-term federal government contract. The role focuses on cyber security uplift, risk reduction, and compliance, aligning with PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight frameworks.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering cyber security uplift, cyber resilience, security remediation or compliance initiatives within large and complex ICT environments, preferably within Australian Government or other regulated environments
• Demonstrated and proven experience performing the duties and responsibilities relevant to the role being applied for, including the required technical skills, technologies, frameworks and methodologies identified in the RFQ
• Demonstrated experience applying cyber security frameworks, policies and standards, including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential Eight and other relevant security and risk management frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior executives, technical specialists, business representatives and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders across multiple levels to influence cyber security outcomes.
• Apply relevant security frameworks and controls to uplift cyber resilience and reduce risk.
• Collaborate with external providers and internal teams to implement remediation and compliance measures.

Job description

One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Senior Systems Analyst. This is a long-term contractual position.

Contract Duration

03 Years (12 months initially + 24 months extension)

Work Location

Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide

Eligibility

Australian Citizen with NV1 security clearance

Working Hours

40 hours per week

Technical skills

• Demonstrated experience applying business and systems analysis techniques to cyber security uplift initiatives, including vulnerability remediation, identity and access management, security monitoring, cloud security, compliance, accreditation and risk reduction activities.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies and processes.
• Vulnerability management platforms:

• Security monitoring and logging platforms.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
