Peoplebank Australia VIC is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for ICT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity in Port Melbourne, VIC. The role combines on-site infrastructure management with cloud and cybersecurity responsibilities in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite).

You will lead security initiatives, strengthen Essential Eight maturity, and support ISM compliance while acting as the sole systems administrator for infrastructure and Microsoft 365 services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong Microsoft infrastructure and cloud experience.
• Practical cybersecurity knowledge including Essential Eight.
• Australian Citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Hands-on Senior Systems Administrator managing infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cloud and cybersecurity.

Location: Port Melbourne, VIC | Employment: Permanent, Full-time | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Salary: $110 -$120k incl of super (Flexible for the right candidate)

About the Opportunity

This is a hands on Senior Systems Administrator (L1 to L4) role responsible for infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cloud administration and cybersecurity. You will play a key part in strengthening Essential Eight ML2 maturity and supporting ISM compliance across the organisation.

As the sole Systems Administrator, you will be the go to person for all infrastructure, Microsoft 365, cloud and cybersecurity operations, supporting a team of Software Engineers, Technicians, Technical Authors, Analysts, Team Leaders. You will have the autonomy to drive improvements, implement security initiatives and make a visible impact across the business.
