Job summary

Invictus People in Brisbane seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to lead and grow a structural engineering team. You will lead, mentor and develop engineers, oversee project delivery from concept to completion, and manage budgets and schedules while maintaining client relationships.

This senior role requires strong knowledge of Australian Standards, leadership capabilities, and a track record in consultancy.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Extensive experience in structural engineering consultancy, with leadership experience.
Strong technical knowledge of structural design and Australian Standards.
Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop engineering teams.
Experience managing projects, budgets and client relationships.
Commercially minded, with ability to pursue new business opportunities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and develop a team of structural engineers and designers.
Oversee the delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Manage project budgets, resourcing, schedules and technical quality.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
Provide technical guidance and review structural designs, calculations and documentation.
Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to deliver coordinated project outcomes.
Contribute to the growth of the Brisbane office, including training and team development.
Ensure projects comply with relevant Australian Standards, building codes and industry requirements.
