Job summary

Flybuys is seeking aSenior Strategy Leader to shape enterprise strategy and governance. You will work with the ELT to translate plans into measurable objectives, and you’ll steer cross-functional teams to deliver growth across members and partners.

You’ll leverage rich datasets to ground decision making, identify market trends, and drive transformation workstreams aligned to Flybuys’ priorities and OKRs, while maintaining strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in strategy consulting, in-house strategy, or a combination.
• Experience developing and implementing enterprise strategy and OKRs.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders in complex environments.
• Comfort leading workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to interpret data, synthesise insights, and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support ELT and Head of Strategy in developing and evolving enterprise strategy for Flybuys.
• Articulate clear strategic choices and priorities, distilling complex factors.
• Validate strategy is actionable, measurable, and aligned across the organisation.
• Maintain organisational situational awareness through research, analysis, and experiments.
• Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive risks.
• Own and drive workstreams in the Corporate Plan process to deliver priorities.
• Translate enterprise strategy to objectives and communicate with leaders and investors.
• Refine and track OKRs, driving maturity and adoption.
• Leverage Flybuys’ datasets to unlock insights for strategy development.

Your Role

There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you will be working on, day-to-day;

• Support the ELT and the Head of Strategy & Business Performance in developing and evolving enterprise strategy for Flybuys
• Articulate clear strategic choices and priorities, distilling a complex set of internal and external factors and considerations
• Validate strategy is actionable, measurable, and aligned across the organisation
• Maintain and uplift Flybuys’ organisational situational awareness, through research, analysis, and experiment design
• Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive risks
• Own and drive workstreams in the Corporate Plan process, validating and articulating the set of actions that will deliver Flybuys’ business priorities and growth objectives
• Translate our enterprise strategy to objectives and outcomes, and articulate the links in communication with ELT, people leaders, the broader Flybuys team, and our investors
• Refine, refresh, govern, and track Flybuys’ OKRs, ensuring alignment to strategy and measurable outcomes through continuous improvement in their maturity, quality, and adoption
• Leverage Flybuys’ rich datasets to unlock insights, grounding strategy development and implementation
• Specify, validate, and operationalise quantitative models to support scenario analysis, grounding investment and resource allocation decisions
• Lead enterprise transformation workstreams to unlock value for our Members and Partners, and accelerate growth
• Ensure transformation program initiatives are aligned, sequenced, and creating the impact we set out to make
• Support strategic initiatives across Flybuys, bringing rigour, practicality, and insight to bear
• Develop and maintain relationships with people leaders and functional experts across the enterprise, building both your own influence, eminence, and effectiveness, and that of the Strategy team

Your Experience

• 7+ years experience in strategy consulting, in-house strategy, or a combination
• Experience in developing and implementing enterprise strategy, including setting and governing enterprise OKRs
• Experience influencing senior leaders, and operating in complex, ambiguous environments
• Comfort leading workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams
• Proven capacity to interpret data, synthesise insights, and make actionable recommendations
• Project management skills, at both a portfolio and project level
• Strong quantitative skills, including modelling, preferred
• Experience in marketplace or ecosystem businesses highly regarded
• Excellent structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and develop junior team members
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, building trust and confidence through a deep understanding of their challenges and opportunities, and a track record of helping them get outcomes
• Capacity to challenge leaders to uplift thinking, strategy, and delivery
