Job summary

SAL Consulting in Darwin, Northern Territory, is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our senior practitioner team. The role combines clinical work with mentoring and discipline development across community, clinic, school and telehealth settings.

The position offers flexible hours and opportunities to contribute to growth, leadership and practice development within a trauma-informed framework.

Qualifications

• Mandatory degree in Speech Pathology and CPSP status.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Speech Pathologist.
• Experience in at least one relevant funding environment (NDIS, education, child protection, health, justice).
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting developing practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Speech Pathology services across community, clinic, school and telehealth settings.
• Provide assessment, intervention and consultation services to people with diverse and complex needs.
• Support individuals, families, carers and support teams to achieve meaningful outcomes.
• Mentor and coach developing practitioners.
• Contribute to discipline growth, clinical innovation and service development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic outcomes.
