Job summary

The Women'S And Children'S Health Network is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist for a 3-month locum contract commencing in July, working across an adult rehabilitation caseload at a regional public hospital on the Yorke Peninsula, SA.

Your role includes stroke rehabilitation, swallowing and dysphagia management, and addressing communication and cognitive-communication disorders within inpatient and outpatient services, as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Current registration with SPA.
• Experience with adult rehabilitation, stroke and dysphagia.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• A current driver's licence and vehicle recommended due to accommodation location.

We're seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist for a 3-month locum contract commencing in July, working across a varied adult rehabilitation caseload.

The Role

You'll be based within a public hospital and your caseload will include:

• Adult rehabilitation
• Stroke rehabilitation
• Swallowing and dysphagia management
• Communication and cognitive-communication disorders
• Inpatient and outpatient services
• Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Current registration with SPA
• Experience working with adult rehabilitation patients, particularly stroke and dysphagia
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• A current driver's licence, with access to a vehicle recommended, as accommodation is located in a neighbouring town
