Remuneration: $58.95 - $60.86 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

How to Apply

  • Current drivers licence valid within Australia

  • Advanced competency demonstrated in the management of adults with swallowing disorders (including the provision of objective assessment) and communication impairments.

  • Demonstrated and recent experience in a tertiary hospital working in the area of managing complex highly acute patients from (but not necessarily limited to) cardiology, cardiothoracic and respiratory specialties including patients within critical care settings

  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Actively practices the principles of Evidence Based Practice and engages in professional development for relevant clinical areas with strong experience in quality management or research

  • Prior experience in the provision of clinical supervision and training of staff and/or students and advanced time management and organisation skills

  • An understanding of service co‑ordination, evaluation, planning and development including a thorough understanding of patient flow and patient safety in the hospital setting

  • Experience managing tracheostomised patients or a willingness to establish these skills
