Job summary

Aurec is seeking a Solution/Applications Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture for a major ICT transformation. The role focuses on replacing legacy systems with citizen-centric, cloud-enabled platforms, aligning with business goals and governance standards across multiple agile teams.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years in architecture roles within Federal Government contexts, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex requirements into actionable designs.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience as a Solution or Application Architect delivering large-scale ICT transformation programs.
Federal Government context experience is preferred.
Ability to distill complex tech into plain English and drive governance in Agile environments.
Proficiency with Commonwealth Government ICT frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and end-to-end architecture of complex solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Produce detailed specifications translating requirements into designs for delivery teams.
Provide strategic and technical guidance to Agile Delivery Teams on architectures and trade-offs.
Document architecturally significant decisions and target architectures across concurrent workstreams.
Drive adoption of robust technical strategies, security frameworks, and governance.
Collaborate within Agile/SAFe to bridge business and technical execution.
