DUG Technology in Australia is seeking Software Engineers to contribute to our next generation of scientific processing applications, including DUG Insight. You will join a world‑class team and work on high‑performance computing challenges, guided by an agile CI process and modern UI, API and data processing initiatives.

We value strong OO design and proficiency in C/C++ or Java, plus good English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong object-oriented software development and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with C/C++ and/or Java.
• Excellent written and spoken business and technical English.
• Familiarity with Python and scripting for tooling is a plus.
• Experience with HPC, data processing or scientific software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scientific processing software at high detail.
• Develop and optimize software in appropriate languages (Java, C/C++, Python).
• Review and maintain code written by peers.
• Learn new domains and tools to contribute ideas.
• Provide third-line technical support for complex issues.
• Collaborate on prioritization and rapid product iterations.
• Mentor an intern or junior developer.
