Easygo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack, Frontend-leaning) to join our Melbourne team. You will contribute across frontend and backend, tackle complex problems, and help shape scalable entertainment software used by millions.

You’ll write high-quality code, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with product managers and designers, and push for learning and excellence within a fast-paced, growth-oriented engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in CS or equivalent; 6+ years of hands-on software engineering with frontend focus.
• Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals, TypeScript, GraphQL, WebSocket subscriptions, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of code architecture and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies to grow as a full-stack engineer.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in hands-on coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively engage in hands-on coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

• Lead and independently complete medium-sized projects or components from start to finish.

• Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance and constructive feedback to support their growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  6+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a primary focus on frontend development.Experience with Svelte + SvelteKit or other server-side rendering frameworks (e.g. React + NextJS, Vue + Nuxt, Quasar, etc)
• Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals, Subscriptions (WebSockets, Pub/Sub), TypeScript, GraphQL, Storybook and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of code architecture and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset to address complex technical challenges and devise innovative solutions.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies to grow as a full-stack engineer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Node.js, Docker, Cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS Code Pipeline, Github Actions) for automating the deployment process.
