Job summary

Softtest pays pty ltd is seeking an APS6 Engineer (Labour Hire) to lead NDIA software development projects in Australia. You will direct development efforts, ensure code quality, and collaborate with business and IT teams to deliver complex solutions.

Working under broad direction, you will review code, resolve issues, and ensure security and accessibility standards are met within project teams.

Qualifications

• Oversee software development projects and provide technical leadership.
• Write optimised code and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Ensure quality and functionality of software developed by the team.
• Collaborate with NDIA stakeholders and IT teams on complex solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD, Terraform and Kubernetes is described in duties.

Responsibilities

• Implement new systems, apps and integrations following NDIA architecture.
• Design CI/CD pipelines, write Terraform IaC, and containerise apps for Kubernetes.
• Work in an agile project team and participate in code reviews.
• Document all design and development work and ensure security requirements.
• Ensure accessibility and test coverage through collaboration with QA.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Leads to resolve issues.
• Ensure solutions are pragmatic, value for money, and fit for purpose.
