Job summary

Darling Downs Health in Toowoomba is seeking a Senior Social Worker (Child Development Service) to support children and families facing developmental concerns within a multidisciplinary team, influencing care pathways and service improvement.

You’ll deliver psychosocial assessments, partner with clinicians, carers, schools and community services to create coordinated pathways of care, and provide mentoring and clinical leadership to strengthen the team's capability and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
• Strong experience in child and family psychosocial assessment and case management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary and community-based environments.
• Demonstrated capability to lead quality improvement, supervision or workforce development activities.
• Experience supporting children with developmental needs or advanced training in child development is highly regarded.
