Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Site Activation Specialist to join the ANZ Site Activation team. The role covers end‑to‑end site start‑up activities across multiple sponsors and therapeutic areas, from feasibility through to maintenance.

Based in Australia, you will coordinate ethics submissions, lead budget negotiations, and liaise with investigative sites and internal study teams. Contracts and local adaptations are part of the role, with flexible location within Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• 12 months hands-on experience in clinical trial site start-up / site activation activities.
• Experience managing ethics submissions and informed consent documentation requirements.
• Proven experience in site budget and contract negotiations.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and studies in parallel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support site feasibility, site identification, site start-up, and maintenance across multiple studies and sponsors.
• Prepare, review, and track site start-up documentation per regulatory and sponsor requirements.
• Act as a key contact for investigative sites during start-up and maintenance phases.
• Coordinate ethics submissions and ICF submissions, including local adaptations.
• Lead site budget and contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate site and study information in internal systems and trackers.
• Provide status updates and risks to internal stakeholders.
• Mentor less experienced team members and operate with autonomy across studies.
