Job summary

Softtest pays pty ltd in Canberra is seeking a Systems Analyst – Siebel Designer to deliver business and systems analysis for the Siebel CRM platform and related systems, collaborating with business, policy, project and technical stakeholders.

The role focuses on requirements analysis, functional design and solution support across the full lifecycle, supporting deliveries, releases and ongoing improvements in a complex ICT environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SFIA Level 4 and ICT tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years' IT systems analysis and design experience.
• 5+ years' Siebel CRM experience; 2+ years as Siebel Analyst‑Designer.
• Experience with large Australian Government IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business analysts and external agencies to determine business requirements.
• Negotiate scope within technical and resourcing limitations.
• Plan and facilitate workshops with business and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and present design solutions.
• Work closely with architects, UX designers, product design assurance and developers to ensure feasible designs.
• Develop and document detailed functional design specifications, user stories and other artefacts.
• Coordinate the implementation of solution designs with relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze and resolve design issues raised during development and post go‑live.
• Transfer knowledge to departmental officers.
