Job summary

ZSoft Technologies in Canberra is seeking a Senior SharePoint Specialist to deliver hands‑on technical delivery for a records modernisation project within an Australian Government environment.

You will support the planning, configuration, migration and operational handover of legacy information to SharePoint Online, combining strong Microsoft 365 expertise with practical information architecture and governance.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Strong SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
• Practical information architecture and governance experience.
• Hands-on Power Platform development (Power Apps and Power Automate).
• SharePoint customization and development experience.
• Proven migration delivery using ShareGate or comparable tools.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and Microsoft 365 integration skills.
• Relevant project examples demonstrating successful delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Ability to provide professional referees.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer and optimise SharePoint Online sites, libraries, permissions and platform settings.
• Design information architecture, including site structures, metadata, content types and navigation.
• Implement governance arrangements supporting information management, controlled access and sustainable administration.
• Plan and execute legacy data and document migrations using tools such as ShareGate.
• Perform migration mapping, testing, validation and reconciliation, resolving migration issues.
• Develop and customise SharePoint solutions and Power Platform applications and workflows.
• Write PowerShell scripts to automate administration, reporting and migration activities.
• Support integration across Microsoft 365 services.
• Prepare technical documentation, support handover and transfer knowledge to operational teams.
