Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Security Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) in Australia to lead security programs across AWS. You will coordinate security engagements with customers and internal teams, shaping baselines and ensuring timely delivery of critical security workstreams.

You will collaborate with services, networks, infrastructure, and security teams, guiding risk-based decisions and driving continuous improvement while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years collaborating directly with engineering teams.
• 5+ years of technical program management with software teams.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional programs and release schedules.
• Knowledge of security in classified government environments and ISM/PSPF.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate security engagements with internal and external customers.
• Plan security work packages and protect delivery timelines.
• Implement ISM, PSPF, DSPF, ASIO T4, NIST into baselines.
• Drive innovation, remove roadblocks, and improve efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams to align dependencies and milestones.
• Engage in architecture discussions and assess security trade-offs.
