Responsibilities

• Manage the budget, and oversee the end-to-end design, implementation, and operational handoff of enterprise physical security systems across global datacenter clusters.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with software, network engineering, and operations teams to field-test and integrate advanced security technologies.
• Negotiate contracts, establish SLAs, and oversee onboarding, QA/QC, and overall service delivery for infrastructure security projects.
• Standardize global security deployments to align with modular build speeds, driving cost reduction and efficiency.
• Proactively communicate program status, strategic direction, and risk mitigation plans to senior leadership and stakeholders.

You will partner directly with data center operations, hardware engineering, and software development teams to deploy security systems that keep pace with AWS's modular build schedules. Acting as the definitive project leader, you will orchestrate cross-functional technical resources, resolve complex deployment blockers, and guarantee that every layer of our defense-in-depth architecture is fully instrumented, measured, and operationalized to meet AWS's highest security standards.About the teamThe Infrastructure Security Team is accountable for ensuring that the foundation of AWS operates and scales securely. This team is responsible for the security of the hardware supply chain, AWS datacenters, and the AWS network.
