Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Security Consultant in Perth to expand its Security division and manage design services across sectors such as large commercial projects, hospitals, universities, justice facilities and federal/defence works.

You will advise clients, oversee project design and delivery from planning to commissioning and have the opportunity to help build and lead a team as the State Section Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience designing physical and electronic security elements.
• SCEC Endorsement desired but not essential.
• Current WA Security Consultant licence.
• Qualifications in Security Risk Management, Security Science or Engineering.
• AGSVA Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Australian Citizenship is required for defence-related work.
• Experience in infrastructure, justice or defence sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services to clients on security matters.
• Manage existing clients with exemplary service.
• Assist in securing new projects and clients.
• Perform security risk analyses and prepare reports (HVM, CPTED, etc).
• Design and deliver projects from master planning to commissioning.

About the role

Due to multiple high-profile project wins our Perth office is looking to expand their Security division and seeking an experienced Senior Security Consultant.

You will provide management of design services within multiple sectors including but not limited to; large commercial projects, hospitals, universities, justice (police stations, court houses, correctional facilities) and federal/defence works.

Although this role is aimed at a Senior level, the successful candidate will have the view of supporting Stantec in the growth of our Security offerings in WA. You will have the opportunity to create your own team and become the State Section Manager.

Day to day tasks would involve:

• Provide advisory services to clients in relation to security.

• Manage existing clients by providing exemplary service.

• Assist with securing new projects and clients.

• Undertake Security threat and risk analysis, creating Security Risk Assessments, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation reports, CPTED reviews, etc.

• Project design, documentation and delivery from master planning to detailed design, administration assistance, construction through to commission.

To be successful for this role you'll need:

• Experience working on the design of physical and electronic security elements.

• SCEC Endorsement desired, although not essential.

• Current WA Security Consultant licence

• Qualifications in Security Risk Management, Security Science, Engineering or a related field.

• Hold a AGSVA Security Clearance or ability to obtain.

• Due to this role being involved in security and defence projects, you will be required to be Australian Citizen

• Ideally have experience working within the infrastructure, justice and defence sectors.
