Job summary

Manning Valley Anglican College (MVAC) in Taree, NSW, part of Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation, is seeking a committed Secondary School Teacher. You will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Years 7–12, integrate faith-based values, and provide pastoral care within a supportive Christian learning environment.

Applicants should hold a teaching qualification, NSW teacher registration, and knowledge of the NSW curriculum; experience with co-curricular activities is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant field (teaching qualification).
• Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and NESA requirements.
• Demonstrated commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL).
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NSW syllabus documents, including the ability to respond to student learning needs.
• Participation in co-curricular or extracurricular activities, camps, or school events
• NSW Working with Children Check
• National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes)
• Be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our team.
