Job summary

The HR Ally in Canberra seeks a Senior SAP Developer to join a team supporting the DVA ecosystem, designing and maintaining SAP solutions to meet government standards. You will lead development projects, ensure secure, high-quality SAP applications, and mentor junior engineers in an agile environment.

Responsibilities include configuring SAP modules, implementing enhancements, and ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with ECC to S/4HANA upgrade, migration or remediation in large organisations.
• Extensive SAP modules knowledge including CRM, ABAP, UI5 and BRF+.
• Proven ability to lead SAP development and integration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain SAP modules.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, code, test and implement SAP enhancements, reports and interfaces.
• Support integration between SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Identify, investigate and resolve SAP-related issues with minimal disruption.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching and performance testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Deliver on projects within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Work collaboratively using agile ways of working.
