Job summary

Datacom is seeking an experienced Software Asset Management Consultant (SAM) in Perth, WA, to lead consulting projects within our SAM team. The role focuses on delivering SAM services, license optimization, and compliance reviews for large commercial and government clients.

You will drive licensing modeling, advisory services, and the implementation of Flexera One across multiple customers, ensuring audit readiness and cost savings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Asset Management consulting experience, with strong Oracle licensing and compliance expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Flexera One installation, configuration, data ingestion, reconciliation and reporting.
• Ability to lead SAM projects for Commercial and Government clients and advise on licensing terms.

Responsibilities

• Act as Consulting SAM SME for customers and the SAM team.
• Deliver SAM consulting services aligned to current technology trends and market demands.
• Lead licensing modelling and optimization recommendations for customers.
• Review licensing terms, contracts and compliance posture to identify gaps and risk.
