Job summary

MTX APAC in Queensland seeks a motivated Managed Services Technical Lead to guide Salesforce development across Sales, Service and Marketing Clouds, providing hands-on contributions and leadership to a growing team.

You will collaborate with clients to translate requirements into scalable architectures, mentor engineers, manage backlogs, and ensure delivery excellence while embracing agile, remote-friendly practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience of Salesforce implementation experience
• Firm understanding of web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object-oriented design
• Experience with project automation technology: Jenkins, automated unit testing, Maven
• Experience with post production support in Managed Services
• 2+ years Omnistudio / Vlocity Experience (preferred)
• Experience in Public Sector Solutions Industries Clouds (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead MTX Salesforce support and maintenance, providing both oversight and hands-on contributions to the design, development, and integration.
• Plan clients strategic direction of Salesforce enhancements, refining the backlog.
• Mentor junior team members to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
• Take ownership of all technical support items
• Provide specialised expertise in Salesforce application development, encompassing technologies like Lightning Web Components, Aura Lightning Components, VisualForce, Apex Triggers, and Apex Classes.
• Showcase leadership in implementing Salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business teams to gather client requirements, enabling customised application solutions that align with client needs.
• Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architecture.
• Design, develop and maintain a technical solution to support client's business requirements and follow best practices.
• Perform code reviews for development team members to ensure proper coding standards. Troubleshooting issues as they arise during the project lifecycle.
• Identify technical risks on your projects and help implement a mitigation plan.
• Think creatively to balance the demands of client needs with technical best. practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Agile methodologies to effectively lead development teams and project execution.
• Execute proficient data migration from legacy systems to Salesforce.com using tools like Data Loader.
• Offer expertise in troubleshooting and issue resolution during various phases of the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and manage technical risks within projects, devising effective mitigation strategies.
• Exhibit creative problem-solving to harmonise client requirements with technical best practices.
• Additional responsibilities as required to support the overall success of the team and organisation
